Lower School

Around Houston, people say, “You can tell a ROBS student when you meet one.” They look you in the eye and shake your hand firmly, just like they learned in morning meetings. They say thank you to the nurse at the pediatrician’s office. As young alumni, they volunteer to grocery shop for elderly neighbors during a pandemic—for free. In fact, our amazing students are the reason so many prospective parents come for a visit. They want to discover what’s in our “secret sauce.”

And they want their own children to grow up to be just like the ROBS students and alumni they know. The magic begins and ends with our mission, which couples ambitious academics with abiding Christian values. Along the way, your child will discover joy and kindness, perseverance and resilience. She will learn to love learning.

From the earliest grades, your child will be encouraged to take responsibility for herself, how she does her work, and how she cares for her belongings.
